Job Description:
National Fuel is currently seeking a Complaint/Service Person for an outstanding career opportunity in our Elk Servicenter located at 2093 State St, St. Marys, PA 15857. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Investigate emergency calls and complaints of leakage
• Change meters, reset meters, turn meters on and off
• Repair and service domestic and commercial appliances
• Perform routine maintenance on the pipeline system
Experience Required:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather and the ability to work in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent customer service/communication skills
• Handle customer inquiries and perform collection work
• Basic literacy is required. Ability to read, legibly prepare written documentation and have the ability to accurately interpret and analyze written information
• Basic computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in plumbing, heating, air conditioning or a related field
• Prior customer service work experience
• Experience in underground construction and equipment operation
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a proven track record of good attendance, and committed to work place safety. There are multiple shifts available, however, candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 12:30 pm and 9:00 pm. The work shift could also include off hours, weekends, holidays, overtime, and a midnight shift. Applicants must live within a 20 – mile radius of Elk Servicenter located at 2093 State St, St. Marys, PA 15857 or be willing to relocate.
