Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is an undergraduate and graduate college of Penn State, offering students the learning opportunities of a major research university in a student-centered environment. As part of a land-grant institution, the college is also uniquely positioned to advance the economic, social, and intellectual welfare of northwestern Pennsylvania through research and outreach.
Students learn in more than 40 programs of study and become involved in more than 110 clubs and organizations as well as 22 NCAA Division III sports. The college also operates more than three dozen outreach centers, programs, and initiatives for business and industry, area school students, and the community -- and the campus is home to a 200-acre research and development park, known as Knowledge Park.
